In January this year we visited Top Drawer a trade show for Home, Craft, Fashion, and Gifts in London. We were totally inspired and felt really strongly that it was time for us to take a leap and put our work on a bigger stage. We predicted 2017, but we're being ambitious...
We have been selected to partcicpate in Top Drawer September 2016, and not only that we have been Spotted.
Spotted supports fledgling businesses make their all-important trade show debut. It aims to showcase 'rare and exciting collections of extraordinary new talent and features 40 handpicked new businesses in one central location, Spotted is the best place to discover new products made with skill and originality.'
Spotted is curated by Charlotte Abrahams, a freelance writer, author and curator specialising in design and the applied arts. She writes regular features and columns for the national press, including Financial Times How to Spend It, Crafts and Guardian Weekend. She curates exhibitions and is also the author of several design books - www.charlotteabrahams.com.
"I am constantly amazed by how much creative talent there is in the UK and I’m delighted to be able to introduce some of that talent to an international retail audience."
This news has made everyone involved feel like they are part of something very special. It has changed the energy in the studio, and people are rising to the challenge to make sure that we are ready.
